Specimens of Ore— At Noon went up to the Tower of the Littleton Meeting House— Saw the Top of Mount Washington Snow-cap’d— Snow fell last Night— Five or six Gentlemen at Littleton gave us a dinner— Revd. Mr Fairbanks— We left Littleton at 2. P.M. with the waggon and pair driven by Mr Gibb, our host and came to Ethan Allen Crawford’s— Hart’s Location 20 Miles— Wild Pigeons Blue Jays— A young Buck came and looked at us— Met at Crawford’s Mrs Charles Paine. 2 Mrs and 2 Misses Greenough and a boy— Dr Edward Warren— Mr Humphreys and two young men by name of Weld— Crawford’s Evening Guns and Ecchoes.
