r: Sonntag called upon me this morning for a
Passport which I gave him— I was employed sufficiently through the day,
in reflection, and in my morning walk went again over the frozen flesh
market in the Newsky Perspective— Mr: Smith dined abroad. I
was engaged the whole Evening in writing a letter to the President.
