Sunday September 21. 1794 5th A fine fresh breeze all night and all this day.
The vessel rolls very much and our new sailors have not yet recovered
the accustomed tone of their stomachs. Tilly, my Servant is by far the sickest person on board:
he can do nothing, and indeed requires considerable attendance himself.—
I can yet get no sleep, and suffer in consequence of this inability;
particularly in my spirits. Saw a ship this morning in the fog.
